I can’t get over how many people rushed to Boise State “University’s” defense with this whole “lack of institutional control” accusation. Why all of a sudden is the NCAA enforcing it’s rules considered “keeping the little guy down”?
“But Ohio State, USC and Auburn violated rules and nothing happened to them! Clearly the BCS just hates poor Boise.”
Really? Last time I checked 5 Ohio State players are suspended for the first 5 games of the upcoming season including Heisman Trophy Candidate Terrell Pryor. And USC? They were suspended from post season play and Reggie Bush had to give up his Heisman. And as far as Auburn and the Cam Newton scandal go, they haven’t been able to prove anything. Yes some shady stuff probably went down, but what the hell is the NCAA supposed to do if there is no real proof?
